I am a native Oregonian, graduated from OSU majoring in advertising art. Throughout my art career I have studied with many well-known artists that have taken me down many creative-style paths. My art is neither introspective nor philosophical. Instead it is the "process" that gives me excitement that fills my heart. This "process" is what I love. Whether it is gessoing a canvas, mixing colors or designing my marketing materials, it's the "doing" that fires me up. I love colors, designs, and composition. My inspiration comes from within. It may be a quiet moment, a dream or a culmination of various sketches that give me my next project. I work in a variety of media and subject, but primarily landscapes and floral in a loosely abstract interpretation. I call this 'conceptual art' because of my loose representation of form and movement.
